Taxpayer Money Wasted

After 10 hours after having posted a new Forum topic and only 18 reads, I have come to the conclusion that Ohioans are really stupid.

At one time, Ohio's motto was: "With God, All Things Are Possible,"

Ohio needs to have a new motto:  "Land of the Dummies" or maybe just "DUH"!!!!

I live across the street from one of the 3 schools, and I can say that not a single new or old item was thrown out.  Everything was neatly packed up into school trucks and vans and used else where.  What was not still in decent shape was offered for sale to the public.  Sometimes people on this board just like to stir the pot even though they have no idea what they are talking about.  They also like to assume and try to cause unfounded outrage.  Oh, and the $10,000 was offered to Dr. Koonce, and after listening to his plans I understand why he would not want to sell that school for that much.

As for only getting 18 hits....I do not know if you have noticed or not but the Forums and the Blogs are pretty much dead.  Only one of the blogs seems to be update often anymore, the rest must have lost interest after the election.  As far as the forums go, most of us sane open minded folks can only put up with the same spam posts of "Obama is a creep" or "Someone said 12 years ago that one of Obama's cabinet members had cooties".  As you may remember I am not the biggest Obama fan out there, but that crap gets old and those that are intelligent enough to ignore it have been.  Sadly it means that we have to ignore these forums as well.

There was a large roll off dumpster setting next to the school, and I saw folding tables, new packages of post-it note pads,  new reams of paper, and gallon jugs of cleaning supplies for starters. Not as neatly packed as you claim.

No, my school was not Madison.  I was honestly very amazed at how well the Campbell School inventory was "recycled".  I was waiting to see some sort of mass dumping of everything, but it never happened.   There were never any roll-off dumpsters over here. 

Tax payers have the right to get angry about there wasted money by the government.

We work hard for it, not to waste it by wrong planning & descisions.

I think people will start thinking about ebusiness as a way to do their work with no tax paying.

These forums have been dead since they moved from the old board. Add to that, most of the posts on here re-hash the same things. As a result, most people have no interest in viewing them, let alone commenting on them.

I strongly agree with you that private business never waste money like government. As a part of the budget, Obama administeration has proposed changing the rules governing the taxation of foreign earning US companies by curtailing "deferral" of US taxes on overseas profits. It makes no sense because of the competition around the world. This will definetly leads to job loss and inturn affect the taxpayers. This blog has the power to eliminate waste, mismanagement and inefficiency in the government. Lets work together!
